What is so special about the Aluminium used in Lettasafe letter boxes?
To begin with, all of the castings used in our letterboxes are 100% aluminium, that is NO other metal at all. We believe we are the only manufacturer that offers this.
Also the quality of aluminium used is LM6 grade, this type of aluminium is more expensive and designed for outdoor use. It contains silicates which are designed to stop the spread of water ingress resulting from the protective enamel getting chipped or damaged.
